THE DANIEL TRUST MINISTRIES        GOD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL  GIFT FOR MEN AND WOMEN We read in the Bible about the pure, innocent ,joyful and the most fulfilling way that God provided companionship and love for man and woman when He made them. It is a thing most wonderful that this way is still available for those who genuinely seek it as a blessing from God, but it is a blessing set in following His will, not our own. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; Male and female He created them. Genesis Chapter 1 v 27 In Chapter 2 of this same book the plan that God had made for mankind, is given in greater detail. Verse 7. The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being Verse 15-17. The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and care for it. And the Lord God commanded the man "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die. Verse 18. The Lord God said, "It is not good  for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. Verse 19-20. Now the Lord God  had formed  out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man  to see what he would name them; and whatever  the man called each living  creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air, and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable  helper was found. Verse 21. So the Lord God  caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took on of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the  Lord God  made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought to the man. Verse 23,       The man said "This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called 'woman' For she was taken out of man" Verse 24. For this reason a man will  leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Verse 24. The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.         A  GOD DESIGNED UNION OF SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY When God made man from the dust of the earth He breathed His own spirit into the mans nostrils When he  made man, he physically gave him a body and a soul. The Soul is made up of the mind, the will and emotions. This is not the Brain, which is a physical  organ that acts as a central processor; organising and managing  all the physical  workings of the body, but intricately combining this with  that part of the body which is the soul. Mankind therefore, unlike other species God made, has a spirit, soul and body. This is the one whole person, and  God in His wisdom  when providing a help mate, actually took a part of one to help make the other. Man was God's special creation  and in  Woman was God's special  way of ensuring a holy company of men and women for himself. Perfect souls and bodies with a spirit in total harmony with Gods will and purpose. When man and woman joined in an act of sexual union it was (and still is) God's intention that  the union would be a complete union of  body, soul and  spirit of those persons. ------------------------------ Sorrowfully,  this is what man has denigrated  and now refers to as  SEX,  with all the connotations the mind, desires and lust produces with  it. Whenever a sexual act takes place between two persons,  there is a transitory bonding of body, soul and spirit. This may be male-female, male-male female-female. Where sex is practised outside God's purpose it becomes ungodly ,and this gives legal rights to Satan to influence the spiritual mingling which he hijacks for his purpose and glorification. When sex is practised with animal this has similar implications but the spiritual element is truly demonic. An extremely dangerous area for man with his ideas of sexual freedom, sexual liberation and sexual orientation. It is for this reason that sexual immorality and loose morals generally, plays havoc in today's societies, especially for the children, who reap the miseries of  the consequences of generational iniquity this leads too. Where two people, a man and a woman join together in a marriage covenant  before God, their union and their children will be blessed , provided the bond is kept clean and wholesome.
